Pro
They are fine as long as you don’t want to do anything else on the desk, like eat. I find the full standing desks more enjoyable because you don’t have this big clunky thing in the middle of the desk
Rising Star
I find top of bookcases to work perfectly. It is perfect height to have my laptop and a screen when I am standing. I did not want another piece of furniture in my house

I liked my old one
Had a veridesk option in the office and didn’t like the levels and mousepad position. Have a regular sit/stand at home and greatly prefer it. I needed a new desk though - if I was not already buying furniture I would have gone for the flat top converter so I could set the positions of everything myself. I’d been researching those for the office prior to Covid. They are less prevalent, but do exist.
They are very good at making your desk look like a battle station
I have one at my office and I love it. I have a sit/stand desk at home and love that too. I like the sit/stand desk for my house because, like D1 said, it’s a cleaner look than having a desk + veridesk. If you’re looking for something for your home office, I would recommend the sit/stand desk.
I have had both. I am tall so I had to find a desk that would go up higher than the veri desk. Also, make sure your cord set up is amazing because the up and down jolt can cause your monitor cords to pop out.
I had one and loved it

Had one. Not bad. I got a new desk with similar built-in functionality and like it better though.
Go full standing. Don't give up the desk space or create the cluttered look.
I agree and it doesn’t have to be expensive! Costco has an awesome adjustable height desk by Tresanti. Built in phone charger, USB, and 3 height settings you can lock in. I LOVE mine!
I have an executive type desk and love mine! Granted, you can’t get an executive style full standing desk that I’m aware of.
I got this little Maxtand from Kickstarter. Doesn’t take up a ton of space and allows me to stand every so often.
