McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you bring in business no one cares that you can’t add
May be true at AP, not at MBB.
EM for me. I did PE CDD/VDD work. It was replaced by tell me how you set up a team, divide the work, run the case, set up the analysis to get the answer. It is usually a case the PPMD you’re interviewing with is pitching or just sold. So they want to see how you think and if it aligns with their thinking.
Have interviewed people with 10 YOE who are incredibly unstructured when they do a case. Yes you might feel it's beneath you but no team can succeed under you if you're not able to structure your thoughts. The case is a pretty great tool for exposing this.

When I was a SM years ago, I had one firm tell me their recruiting process was 3 MBA style cases.
I politely told them that was ridiculous and that I was no longer interested in processing further.
At the EM level, most of the recruiters who hit me up indicate that cases will be expected during the interviews. With that said, though, I bring a very niche expertise, and I've had a few recruiters who recognized it and managed to get my resume in the hands of people in that area at other firms. In those scenarios, I have never been expected to do cases; I just did multiple interviews with different members of that team to assess fit and to talk generally about trends in that specific area. So it wasn't really replaced with anything, it was just removed entirely.

Manager is the highest you should see it, and even then it shouldn't be the full case with math and "let me take to gather my thoughts" framework stuff. Above that I decline the interview
I'd say Principal and above, just from what I understand
Doesn’t Accenture do cases until the SM level?
I was cases at the manager level for acn strat. I did it between client meetings. Was pretty easy
I don’t even understand what you are asking.
Don’t worry about it
I have never been cased. Made it big bro
Manager and completed a rotation, ending up switching. Anything is possible if you envision yourself doing it every day.
