We have a bunch of low performers that need to be cleaned out. If we want to continue to grow aggressively, we need to have top performers and make the tough decision to get rid of those unable to keep up. Sorry for those caught up in this obviously, but it's a part of this business.
ATI only has double digit growth this year because of shit years in the past few years... No one is looking at it holistically!
That said, the review calls this cycle were tougher than in previous years and that's due to a number of factors such as time to Partner and trying to reduce our overall G&A costs. They already slashed non-consulting folks, have cut back on training, and increased refresh rates on laptops. Now it's time to go after the consultants. Just wished they would kick out the low performing Partners!
Looks like we got every AT Kearney user on this app to respond to this thread 😜
I was rejected by ATK last year. Glad I didn't get that job 🙏🏼
All year you can think of buying expensive stuff and splurge around and news like this brings back you to reality.

Thx p1 and d2...
P3 made up a number and then said the number seems high?!
Any RPA experience hit up EY ASAP, aggressively hiring.
Numbers that high suggest lay-offs but up or out is a good excuse. I'm calling it now that ATK gets acquired in the next 5 years.
Normal transitions were 10%. OP comment is not correct.
Well we also chopped out time to partner this cycle. So that means we had a few folks that fall outside the new grid and naturally will get counseled out
Saw this coming. The numbers have lined up. @ATK2. There definitely is data out there on this.
25 percent is not out of line. Seriously, all forms could get rid of 25 percent. Look at business schools and how much of s filter is recruiting and interviewing versus the job. 25 percent of consultants complain and moon on here for sympathy.
Y'all can always sell out to your more capitalized big4 brothers
Just heard of a few folks let go less than a year in!
Net is supposed to be around 10% but some groups could be impacted more than others. Also not all groups are of the same size so 15-20% may be true for a group (still sounds high to me) and another could be 1-5% and both out council the same number of people
No please don't
