It's a very long walk on north side. If u dont have have check in bag go international side when u come out near door go down stairs. If u checked in a bag go south side, depends on the day could be a looser too. Avoid check in bag take train to international even though u are domestic will be fine.

Unfortunately I come into gates T14 - T16 every week. Long way to the train from there. Coming in any of the normal gates I agree with you.

Think it is really important for us to be able to talk openly about comp across firms. What ranges of salary do your firms have at the junior level? Below is my understanding at Deloitte, but others please correct me if you know of anything different for Commercial Consulting. I know titles will also be different across forms but should be able to match them up. Level 1: Analyst - $80-90k Level 2: Consultant: $90-110k Level 3: Senior Consultant (post MBA): $140-165k Level 4: Manager : $150-180k

I know this topic does not get talked about much but will eventually impact almost all of us so here goes. I am thinking of retiring (early) and would love recommendations for countries that I can retire to that. Primary factors would be cost if living, safety, warm climate, good health care system, (preferably) close to the US - not a requirement, stable government and laws, diversity in landscape (beach, rivers, mountains). Definitely not super rich so thinking of 5k a month in expenses.

One thing I struggle to remind myself of is you can only lose so much from a bad investment but gains from a good investment are (sorta) unlimited. If your starting position is $10,000 and the value halves, you're down $5,000. But if the value of a separate position doubles, you're now up a total of $5,000. I think learning this will help me reach my FIRE goals by eliminating a lot of emotion and impulse in my investment decisions. What other "life lessons" do any of you have?
