BAH Backpay. I checked out of my barracks 12DEC22 before deploying 14DEC22-05JUL23, with the understanding that I would get back paid for those ~6-7mo. The base and Command refused to back pay me citing that I did not route my chit to RECEIVE BAH until Jul which I was totally unaware of despite repeatedly asking to confirm with the Yeoman etc if I was good to go. The XO recently even said that they 100% have the ability to backpay me but it would make the CO look bad. Should I sue the Command?

Been a coach at the collegiate level for 6 years. Make a $65k salary. Want to leave coaching and break into sales/marketing/recruiting/consulting. I have ample leadership and recruiting experience with a strong work ethic.
