Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bainâs local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?
Bain & Company My 13 YO is taking Career and Tech. She is dead set on diving for Michigan. What are her chances of getting hired from MBB with a degree from UM? Or would she need her MBA first? Is a Michigan degree good enough to get you into a top MBA program?

I had a similar situation at a different level where I was hired down one level: best thing that ever happened to me. I totally needed the additional runway which it afforded me.
SA to C is 12-24 months depending on geography, and can happen early if youâre hitting it outta the park.
Encourage you to take the offer :)

In US, SA means you can be promoted in as short as 12 months. Typical is probably 18-24. At that point you TC will be $200k+. 2 years later it would be 260-300.

Itâs not.
One year, I believe. What is your experience? If you donât have MBA or not a manager, coming as A or SA is quite normal.
Take the offer and enjoy the extra runway!
