Yeah, especially when been interviewed by a smaller agency. Like woo me, a little.

Right!? Totally been there.
Yeah, Ive never understood this. Ive been in roles of being a hiring manager a lot over the course of my 25+ career in digital. I always, always want ample time for questions from any candidate! You learn so much from it about the candidate, and it helps create a much more authentic dynamic in the interview process. Creating interview spaces where candidates feel like they are getting pressure tested to run a mental maze of overly scripted questions and " sell themselves" is awful IMO. Good luck in your search, I hope you start to get treated better and more like a human.

Agree!
Look, if you're interviewing right now, keep this in mind. Whenever you're put into into a high pressure sales situation, there's only 2 ways it goes: 1.) The sales person (in this case, the interviewer) is bad at their job. 2.) The deal on the table is bad, and they need you to not think about it too much. One of these two will be true. Neither of them help you evaluate whether a place is a good prospect for long-term employment. But they're not great signs.
Unfortunately you’re interviewing for one position. They have 8 people interviewing for the same position. You might be the best person for the job, but if another candidate wants it more? They might seem a little hungrier.
Good luck in your job hunt. Haha.
