Go on LinkedIn and take the Become a Product Manager Learning Path. It’s 19 hours packed full of great resources and is free with premium membership. Reforge has some great courses from what I’ve heard if you feel you need one. Don’t spend all your money on online courses and certifications though. It might help some but it won’t help as much as hands on experience. If you can’t get that by shadowing where you’re at then look into side projects. Tons of no-code side project ideas available to gain experience. Just be sure to apply Product Management principles when implementing. If you can document the steps through a portfolio or on LinkedIn that’s even better. That will get you further than spending a bunch on certs.
That’s helpful, thank you. I’m trying to pivot into PM from an entirely different industry so I figured some structured education and a certification or course completion I can put on the resume that provides some foundational principles would be useful.
I’ve heard that Product School is quite good. They try their best to hide the price from you, but I believe it’s about $5k.
