I am an Engg. (2004-2008) then went for MBA from UPES, Dehradun in Oil and Gas (2012-2014 : Regrettable decision). No connection though with O&G industry. Approx 10 years of work exp. My LWD is 18th July and I chose vendor pickup for my assets(expected pickup is 10th July).
Is there any limitation or chances of facing issues on Not having laptop with me(for other exit clearances).

I have submitted my resignation on Aug11th. I received a mail very next day from HR saying salary willbe put on hold for reliving month and immediate previous month will be put on hold as FNF dues.
Now half of the people I asked saying I won't get salary for August as well and half saying i will get salary for August. Can anyone confirm on this?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? I'm currently an ops manager at a big 4 in London and received an offer from a small boutique firm with 25-30% pay rise.

I'm trying to choose between IBM Corporate Strategy and Innosight. I like both opportunities. Innosight pays more, but I've never had a big brand like IBM on my resume.
