Hi friends! I’m looking for resources to help me be successful in a “Functional Lead” role.

The role is in FinTech
I’m responsible for strategy, comms and key partnerships for a bank product. It reports through Customer Experience but touches product, Ops. marketing. It’s basically a Project Manager role but more nuanced.

If I was a junior on a team during a campaign launch, is that something I can put in my book? I helped during the concepting phase, was responsible for keeping the boards up to date, and wrote a lot of the supporting materials (print, social etc) but obviously I was not on the shoot or the lead on writing the script. As long as I’m clear about my role is that acceptable?

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. The Current scenario of high attrition rates and job shift by taking multiple offers has been caused by a resource crunch in the market. However I have a feeling that this particular scenario of shifting jobs by way of multiple offers and getting high salary is creating a bubble in the market which will burst causing a ripple effect of lay offs due to cost saving efforts by organisations in the near future. In a scenario like this how can one change the job by avoiding the bubble?
