Oof this is a hard one. I think I'll take more money. I've worked at places that have 'great' benefits but very rarely did they fit and meet my needs
Really depends on the benefits, if we're talking unlimited PTO (and you can actually use it) and amazing healthcare coverage then I think I'm going with the benefits. But if it's just like free lunches, then no thanks I'll take the money.
More money for sure. The way that inflation is going these days unless the benefit is discounted rent then I don't think anything would beat more money
Probably money. Assuming the benefits are in line with industry, I’d rather have more cash. 401K is really the only benefit I care about.
Compare the monetary value of the benefits against the money if you are money-minded or the comfort value of the additional money against the benefits if you value comfort and happiness more.
At certain point, I would trade wfh or 4 day compressed work weeks for a higher salary. It really isn't worth it after a certain #
Benefits? Do you mean the same corporate horseshit that someone else plans up for you and your can't change anything? Yeah... money all day. Now, if you put that in an HSA, different story
