First you have to sacrifice your first born. Next, gloat about how amazing you are and why you are so much better than MBB. After that, your pretty much set. Your pension checks will just coming in the mail.
You are vested after 3 years. There is a way to see your estimated monthly benefit on talent on. Demand
3.5 years. Search pension estimate on ToD and it will give you a bunch of details
The first answer is way more entertaining
If I stay 3.5 years do I get 3.5 years of pension or only a half year
When does this pension gets effective. After 58 I guess. Also how your service yeara matters. Do they simply give the per month or lumsump
I'm not at 3 years yet but am wondering if it's worth it to stay till 3 year mark to get pension, but not sure how substantial will be. Started at $140k base.
Defined contribution plan so it doesn't really matter
@OP if I had to guess, your monthly pension benefit with only 3 years will something be like $60. Probably not worth it. It's really only worth it if you stay 20+ years and your finally salary is very high (which it should be at that point). But def check it out in ToD
Your pension balance grows at a fixed 3.8% per year, and you receive a service credit per year of something like 3.2% of your total income.
If you end up staying at Deloitte long term, it is real money. I calc'd it out to be $550k over 20yrs. If you end up leaving early, it isn't worth anything
Op, it will be about $6k
