Poof, your annual bonus is gone!
I recently graduated from law school and have started my clerkship in the superior court of NJ. Once done with my clerkship, I’m hoping to work in employment law (defense). I’ve seen online that Jackson Lewis is hiring at their Berkeley Heights, NJ location. Can anyone give me any insight on what it’s like to work at JL? culture? First year associate salary? Typical work day? Jackson Lewis P.C.

OP, remember that location also matters. Their salaries are going to be fairly comparable for similar exp and practice area, but if you're comparing San Diego salaries to DC, you'll definitely see a discrepancy.
Not at BAH. Our SC range caps around 90. You need to hit Assoc for that kind of range and 3.5 yrs is going to be hard to justify that target.
OP, I gave you commercial range. Fed might be about 10% lower.
Those seem a bit high to me. I would say 90-100
I'm a senior consultant at booz and make around 85. Have a feeling that's in the middle to high end of the range. Work in dc.
$100-$110k
I'd say 115-120 base and a bonus of 10%
^ that sounds right actually. I estimated a bit lower
What BAH 1 said. SC is one level above our entry level. Most make $65k - $80k.
Gotchya. Thanks for the input guys. I'm within the range that bah2 mentioned (lower end). I feel like I'm free labor compared to others in fed at ACN/PwC/Del
Their levels have different titles from what I can tell.
The range from @BAH2 is the same for Deloitte Advisory for the same years of experience. Don't feel so bad.
Thanks for the info guys!
