Love that you plan to get hired on and then spring it on your new employer that you are peacing out for a few months at full pay. And tell me why we are all supposed to be surprised there is a gender pay gap? Those companies trying the hardest are being targeted and taken advantage of.
Dang SAC1 you came on strong! Name calling and wishing ill will on me for a statement that I apologized for the same day. Nice!
I don't have any recommendations unfortunately, but this is a valid question. This is something I will be researching when looking for my next opportunity, since we are planning for kids in the next 2-3 years. Haters gonna hate. Good luck!
Thank you C1. I am glad that finally someone understands. Good luck for both of us 👍 Happy Friday!
Enjoy...
It is taking advantage. You are ruining it for other people. You're not an employee. You're temp staff until you have a baby. Can I say it again - you're ruining it for other people. Tell them you're situation in the interview - otherwise it's a con.
You know what, Deloitte is actually one of the company that allows people to take such leave within a year since your start date. I feel shamed for you that you don't understand the purpose of firm setting up these benefits for parent. I will say no more because responding to such hostile response is wasting time.

Thanks so much, VP1.
Guidehouse offers short term disability and parental leave after 90 days of employment. The total time off at 100% pay equates to 14-16 weeks, depending on type of delivery, not including adding on vacation afterwards.

Accenture’s is actually pretty solid. I believe it’s 16 weeks maternity leave and 8 weeks paternity.

Can’t speak about others including my current employer but I know Deloitte was pretty generous with such benefits
PwC australia allows to take leave for 18 weeks immediately after joining, any primary carer (mom or dad). Not sure about how that is in US.
