I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I think that I have eating disorder. I am always hungry but when I get food I can’t finish it, usually I am done after 2-3 bites and then I am hungry again after an hour. Anyone has similar issues? Have you been to a nutritionist or dietitian? If yes, is it covered by Insurance?

My firm typically does insurance defense, but we take plaintiffs cases here and there. Is it typical that work done by associates on contingency cases isn’t counted toward their billable hour requirements unless and until we receive our fee on the case? This is my first experience with this, but it’s hard for me to reach my hours as is, without spending time on non billable cases like this with no assurance that I’ll see billable credit at the end.

Insurance Defense: Do your paralegals bill on your behalf? Or do they have their own billables? Reason I ask is because I would like to start billing more discovery (Drafting / Reviewing/ etc). Currently my paralegal bills almost all of the discovery (save for depositions). Wondering how I approach my boss and tell him something is off here.
