Can anyone share the PwC cohort salary scale that was posted a while back? Recruiter reached out and I’m not sure if they could even match my current base.

I am a 3rd national living and working in Poland. I have around 1.8 years experience in investment banking including 2 internships. I applied for some roles at BNY Mellon london and other investment banks, that closely matches my current job description and skills.

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

Hi! I recently switched to a new employer, who promised in writing on email that they’d start my GC process right after I complete 3 months with the firm. I’m currently on the 4th month and the process has not yet begun.
Please note that I have to give a couple of exams/certifications, one of which I failed very recently. This is keeping me from asking my employer about the GC process. Am I being irrational? Any advice or help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Please give me a rough estimate on how much hike we can expect in my annual salary revision. I expected 8LPA when I joined. They gave me 5LPA with a promise of revision in 3months after joining. They inc it to 7.75LPA after 4m and during appraisal cycle gave 25k 11months to make it to 8LPA. In Oct my hike is due, so I would to like negotiate my hike. Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
