I wouldn’t do that except on an exception basis (eg big client workshop one week)
Once in a while, sure. Every week, no, sounds like your partner can’t negotiate / fight for your team for shit
If you get fired, you can sue and get a decent amount of money. You will probably just get rolled off

If they are asking you to travel weekly Sun - Fri for client optics then it is not a client you want to be on.
Once in a while is ok, but weekly is just insane
I told them Im open to M-F travel to ramp but that it needs to be a defined number of weeks.
Op- i I had the exact same schedule when I was at Accenture for a bank client on the west coast and I’m located east coast. I did it for about 8mos and was told I wasn’t doing enough etc... I quit the firm. Do you have a family at home that needs you? How long are they expecting you to do this for? How long is the project? Weigh the pros (miles/points) and cons! If you’re a top performer, don’t reject travel often and haven’t been on the bench too long- you can say no.

I was interviewing for the role and asked upfront what travel expectations are and was told they'd get back to me. Fast forward, I get staffed today and they now tell me they want me Sun-Fri until things stabilize and then will revisit travel schedule. Just was told SOW work location is in client city which I am not located and is the reason I have to be there M-F bc role is 100% client facing.

Yea fuck that. Talk to your cc. That is absolutely unreasonable and should not be expected on a weekly basis from anyone. And they probably knew exactly what the travel schedule was... And just wanted to be 🐍s and keep it from you
We got it figured out. I made sure we had upfront expectations with the client that I would be M-F for the first 4 weeks. This was my first week back to normal, good ole M-Th travel.
Why did you say no? Anything personal?
How long is the project?
You can ask to be rolled off prior to joining the project
I was at acn for a long time.
Sunday to friday once in a while is ok.
Tell them that the schedule they proposed is unreasonable and that you recommend they look for a local resource.
If necesary, offer to work the project for two weeks and then roll off.
Big thing is you need to get your cc involved asap.
