I’m surrounded by a team of Audit/ AIexperts and program managers. Im only India and only tech person, handling AI, apps, automation, APIs, etc. Everyone needs my help, even if I must learn on the fly. It’s a good team with good WLB and pay, but I feel like an invisible backbone—doing 20% of everyone’s pilot projects while others give demos to leadership.

Does this gonna affect my promotion, should I pitch in these.

Or should i just do my best work. Let karma

For getting promotion who take the main decision? Manager, Supervisor or HR?

When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). How do I approach this with my boss as I’m not sure she’s aware I’m actually technically a junior? Revolving around asking for a move up + raise

My current employer filed for H1b extension recently. I’m switching jobs and my future employer will be filing a H1b transfer soon. Will 2 parallel applications raise any red flags?Any risk of an RFE?

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.

I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

Any suggestions from mature audience to achieve a big pay raise.

Was lowballed and don’t want to play catch up for the rest of my life. What is the best timing & ways to ask for a raise? Or should I exit to correct my mistake. Happy to dm with my specific info

I've been a government attorney for nearly three years now and have worked in the same office/division since I passed the bar. I've yet to receive a promotion other than two cost of living increases (in sum, a pay increase of 6k over 3 years). I know this is meager, but I'm mostly ok with it, I just want to see some recognition. On the other hand, it's hard for me to imagine negotiating because (given my inexperience), I don't feel I'd be able to do better anywhere else. Any advice?

Tips for 6-month eval? Originally hired at 35K as assistant and was told if I performed well, I could expect to make 50K after a year. After one week, the operations manager resigned and I took over as a trial. Officially am operations manager, but no title (only verbal) and no raise. Owner likes benefits over big pay raises.
