No matter how much good feedback I get and how well received my work is by clients, I constantly assume I’m about to be called in to the CEO’s office and fired.

I’m finding that a weird side effect of losing my job in this climate is ad agencies taking advantage of my weakened position. They get in touch, proactively or in response to my reaching out, and they want to hire me as they are in good shape. When I reveal I was laid off, the offer changes to freelance or maybe nothing. My work, awards, the fact that they know me and approached me in the first place should be enough. I don’t want to lie about my situation. Any ideas how to avoid this?

So I just got fired…. And was told I’d get two months severance… I’m in utter shock since I just got back from the hospital. I was told I needed to improve my performance in January and all the check ins I’ve had I was told I’m doing much better and was put on multiple long term projects and then this happened. I’m in shock and idk if 2 months severance is good bad?!? Idk thoughts?

Hi All, I am SAP analytics professional with 15 years of experience. I got only one offer from PWC SDC banglore for manager position with 29 lpa fixed. IBM which is my current company also offered counter with manager position but with 25 lpa. I know hike and variables are bad in ibm. Which one will be better in terms of money, growth and long term stability.I read about wlb in pwc. Is it that bad. Does pwc sdc will be ok to settle?
