CFA Exam in Aug. Should I bother? I initially signed up in 2020 Jan because I was wanting to join a hf at the time so I kind of needed it. At this point in my career, I’ve decided to go into corp strat/dev so I kept pushing the exam date back (using covid as an excuse). Should I still study for it and take it? It’s a lot of time commitment and I’d probably not have it on my resume anyway (only lvl 1) . I also paid ouf pocket for it so that’s another reason why I’m on the fence about ditching it.

If it doesn’t align with your goals for the future, I wouldn’t add the additional stress into my life. If you think you might need it in the future, you can always re register.

How much did you pay for it? I feel like if it were me and I had some time I'd just cram and see how it went. Worst case scenario, you're still out $$$ but gave it a shot

If I remember from when I took it 10+ years ago, it was a couple grand back then. That’s a lot of money to throw away and not even attempt it. You could half study and sit for it.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m still on quant and taking it in August. I’ll just be living and breathing CFA for the summer. I invite you to struggle with me

I am currently in school for Bachelors Healthcare management/Admin. I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about how they got the same degree but haven’t been able to find a job or anything. I chose this degree because honestly I want to get paid in the future. I’m almost done so it’s entirely too late to switch. What jobs can I look into with this degree that would compensate me well once i graduate. I’ve been looking into healthcare consulting but if there’s any other suggestions i’m open!! thx

Internship Program Help: Hi Everyone! I’ve never worked for a company with any type of internship program at all, let alone a really successful one. My new company thrives off our internship program, with many of our managers/directors having started as one themselves. I’d like to create more of a structure to this program but not even really sure where to begin. Also don’t want to bite off more than I can chew, but would love to hear some tips or even better, maybe have a quick chat if willing?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.

I have my annual review coming up and want to hear thoughts on what a reasonable raise expectation is. I report to the COO and currently make $94k + up to 10% annual bonus based on company hitting their revenue goal + I have 3000 stock options. I have 3 YOE in customer success but pivoted to a non technical program manager role at a series c tech startup last September. I have been getting consistently positive feedback at quarterly reviews. What raise should I aim for?

After going from big agency to in-house, I have the chance to move to a smaller in-house company to be the only creative and eventually begin to build my own team. Ideal situation or terrifying one?
