Chances for HBS/GSB?

URM, 3.8 engineering from large state school, 720 GMAT, will have 3 YOE in consulting and on track for manager promotion by the time of applying. I’d say ECs are ok, but recommendations are strong.

Already took gmat twice and don’t think i can feasible raise my score to match the school averages.

I got invited to a second round interview to meet the team to ensure that it’s a good culture fit. I would love to know any thoughts on what I should ask or do to ensure that I am great fit. I have an interview with HR but it states that if it goes to the hiring manager, it will notified my manager.

What’s a fair expectation for my first raise? Publicly traded co with ~2500 employees. I’ve been doing litigation with the company for almost 3 yrs and have only had a 2% cost of living raise so far. Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE

My husband has dermatomyositis, and his doctor put off treatment so that we could do some collection and go through IVF. I felt like my dr was blowing off our timeline, but I persisted. I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

On MBA resumes, how should I describe my company? Work for a company that the ad comm probably won’t know. What details should I include?

How necessary is an extracurricular for MBA apps? I work a ton of hours and don’t have a lot of time or interest in any activity that I could reasonably put on an app. I spend the little free time I have on activities I enjoy (spending time with SO and friends, working out, Netflix, etc). Would it be really bad if I had nothing in that section on my app beyond college extracurriculars? Or should I force some activity? I have enough time before I apply to make it look legit to adcoms.

Already work in mgmt. consulting but looking to do either consulting or ibanking post-MBA (have only been at company for 1 year so not sponsored and may or may not return to my company).

Have $60K scholarship at Booth, nothing at Sloan. However, I already went to UChicago undergrad and live in Boston so have an established network here. However, concerned about lack of soft skills/leadership development, focus on academics, nerdy culture at Sloan.

Anyone else getting pretty harsh feedback on your candidacy as a whole from Maria at applicant lab? I feel like I have a doable shot at my target schools based on gpa, gmat and essays but every time she reviews she suggests I have no chance. It’s been pretty discouraging.
