Change mgmt/strategy senior associate. Would like to transition to a BizOps role in tech and make 120k+. Is this realistic? Advice on skills to highlight/hone or search strategy?

What skills do you have that would transfer to product management in tech?

Ideally not looking to continue in consulting. Would need a really compelling offer in strategy consulting or something that moves me closer to tech industry. Would also like to be on the west coast. Many good friends and family there. Feels like there’s a community waiting to receive me already.

Generally have skills in process improvement, business development, data strategy, stakeholder analysis, visual design, +more. I don’t see many ppl move from federal consulting to tech industry, so I’m curious on what is needed to facilitate transition/how to stand out.

Subpar pay is at least one big reason I need to leave. Should I be aiming higher?
