Cisa study - did you use the database or the manual?

Database. Literally studied for 2 weekends by memorizing the database and passed with flying colors.

like

Database all the way.

Both. I drilled the database (that's what the actual questions are), and for any areas I sucked at, I opened the book. Do not sit around reading the book for fun though.

Book. But I've been doing this kind of work for 15 years so it didn't seem hard. Passed easily, 1.5 hours. The biggest issue I found was they give multiple correct answers and "one is best" - so you find yourself doing a lot of process of elimination.

Definitely the database, never opened the book. I did put 100 hours of study time to the database though. Finished the exam in 1.5 or 2 hrs, flagged all the qts I wasn't sure about and went back at the end. Know that you will only get 1 or 2 qts from the database on the actual exam, concepts are the same but never the actual question obviously so don't memorize the answer, learn the concept. As mentioned above, pay close attention to the way the question is worded, it will make a big difference. You have to think like ISACA not what YOU would do.

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? The sheer volume of work is exhausting and I haven’t taken a true vacation as we are a small company so if something urgent comes to my email I feel like I must respond. I was given an additional title and more responsibilities last year as well but only a 3% raise for it.
