consulting is a sinking ship. sorry to hear OP but in some ways looking forward to seeing incumbents get shaken up. lots of non value adding senior folks, overhead, etc. for most junior folks, should get out while you can unless you’re a top performer with a path up of course.
Sorry. This is true at PwC and was never even an option at BDO.
I have learned that corporations can 'change their minds' as they please. They hold the purse. The only thing that they are required to do is to provide your periodic paycheck according to what was agreed up front. Everything else is 'a gift.' Even during restructuring management can alter and reduce wages and salaries.
The best thing is not to make plans relying on money that is not in your bank account. Always hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
In the current market there will be no bonuses or successful ratings.
Not at BDO. MBB are doing great. Deloitte looks like they are going to have their best year ever (again). Accenture seems to be in a spiral downwards. PwC have failed to get back into the game.
The question isn’t is consulting dead. The question is why are some thriving as others fail.
Which is always the question.

To be fair ‘Equity’ usually means options. If this is the A team that’s a huge red flag right now. Their equity reflects their performance and it’s not good. You could end up being underwater if you tried to exercise those options.
You can cash out equity as soon as they vest. Unless you are talking about paper money and not publicly traded company
You didn’t address what I stated, and you’re moving the goal posts with your tech company Stan comment. I didn’t mention anything about tech, and I don’t work in tech.
