High tech consulting or consulting consulting? Which firm of these is best for long term tenure, growth and easy collaborative culture?

I’m getting back into the design game after taking a break. I left a very toxic work environment that deeply effected my mental and physical health and took a very different job to have a change of pace and do something different. I'm a third year plaintiff's employment law attorney and I'm looking to move to defense, preferably still in employment law. I received an offer from a midsize firm that primarily focuses on PI with little-to-no employment law practice, so I'll have a bit of a learning curve. Offer is $90k, billable hours of 2100. Is this reasonable? I'm dead-set on leaving my current job, and this would be a $20k pay increase - which makes me believe I'm leaning towards taking it for those reasons only.

Are alternative investments a good area to get started in? I’m making a career change from insurance and like asset management, possibly at Northern Trust. They have openings for alternative investment analyst and I wasn’t sure if that is a recommended area to start in or would that not allow for growth? I just don’t want to get stuck in a specialty and not be able to move up because of it. Any advice?

2nd year insurance defence associate wanting to transition out. Have considered doing different areas of litigation, but would ideally like to move to in-house work. How (un)likely is this to happen without transactional or employment experience? Any practical advice for how to market my experiences or make the transition?

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers.
