I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. After you moved in-house, how did you get more comfortable reviewing contracts or counseling on issues you weren’t super familiar with? I was very specialized at my law firm and took a similarly specialized role in-house….but I still get requests to mark-up types of agreements that I never touched at my firm. I’ve been trying to find CLEs to get up to speed, but I’m wondering if this is generally something that gets more comfortable with time…
