Thats a good idea... i think people will like that more than than 2 or 5% raises and it would be a great marketing tool.
That was the thought!
No way. Big four is much larger than those company that typically offer these benefits (tech companies and MBB). May I ask what is deductible looking like? 0 deductible?
I’m on the high deductible plan paying about $350/ month for the family and my deductible is a obviously a lot, $5k. Seems like I don’t have good insurance at all even though that’s not the line I’ve been told
I think our family HDHP is like $150ish monthly with $5K deductible
I work for a small firm and they cover premiums 100% for employees and families - don’t cover deductible but give money for HSA or FSA.
It’s a great benefit and allowed my wife to take a job at a much smaller firm that didn’t offer insurance.
Yes we have 0 deductible.I’m at MBB not in D anymore. Before was paying like 700 a month
Yes BCG
I don’t mind the premiums, except for dental honestly. They are so long with a HDHP. I would however like to keep the HSA and contribute to it. That to me (for me personally) is better in the run.
Geez OP. I’m on individual HDHP and my premiums are $36 a month. I think family is like $100-$150. Sorry to hear that
i don’t see this happening because people don’t even compare the b4 benefits packages today on an apples to apples basis. people only look at the headline salary number
Lets start with no deductibles and coinsurance first
Typically 0 deductible plans have no out if network coverage
People in this thread don’t know the difference between deductible and premium
