Hi Fishes, I have been offered by Cognizant Consulting to move to UK for a short term. However I have my permanent braces treatment going on in India. Can anyone guide if Cognizant Consulting (UK) covers dental treatment in insurance. Can anyone also let me know how much does braces treatment cost in London? Cognizant

When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

Usually you get the full package after you pass your probation period. But for pension contributions schemes to kick in it might be longer.
You get healthcare from day 1 in the UK.
Depends on the benefit. A lot of the time benefits like shares scheme or profit share will only kick in after a year. Or you only get the equivalent of your duration of employment post passing probation. Benefits like car/ health etc should be immediate.
Thanks for the answers. Let me be a little clearer: I need to go to the dentist, ob/gyn and get my eye prescription renewed soon.
How does this all work in the UK? (Apologies is this is super obvious with NHS and all, I’m from Canada)
I would say that benefits like 1 paid eye test per year (which we get) would kick in from end of probation. Normally it’s only bonuses etc that are delayed.
