I have a very similar background to you and make $87k in PA on Dallas (MCOL?) so $85k in LA seems really low even for industry (if that's what you were researching)
Assurance and actually I lied, I forgot about the recent increases, so maxed out (according to HR) at 89.9k. So really not worth it in LA lol
85 is too low for FS roles I’d expect 90 on the low end and 120 on the high end. For non FS roles I’d say 85k is in the middle of the range. Source: had to job search for 6 months recently
Thanks that’s really helpful! It’s always nice to have an idea of the range. Hope you found a job you’re happy with 😉
From an internet search it seems like 85K per year is reasonable, but that sounds a little low in my opinion. I understand there may be some differences in the type of industry, especially financial services vs. others. I’m mostly wondering about jobs in non-FS industries. From my understanding FS jobs may pay closer to 100K per year. But after working in FS for almost all my years in audit I have no intention of specializing in FS. Could anyone confirm this understanding?
I would expect 100-115. That advisory experience is great. It’s important to show that off at your interview
Thanks! Your comment helps make me feel a little more confident in my experience :)
I know 3 people that left right when they made senior in audit. Left for around 90k so I’m assuming you should be over 100k

What level are you in cmaas? S2 would be close to if not over 100 already, manager add another 20%. I wouldn’t look at anything below 125
