CPA here thinking about disability insurance for my spouse and I. The AICPA DI premiums seem actually pretty good for my spouse (also CPA) and I. Anyone have any experience with them? Best to shop around? If so, how/where?
Also, curious in general what happens to coverage when income fluctuates a lot (coverage is based on monthly salary) which may swing $100k in any given year due to bonuses. I don't want to pay high premium if we get jipped in a down year. Any other bowl to also ask these qs?

No experience with their DI but do have term life insurance through them and they have been easy to work with and were the best option for us (for term) after checking out multiple options.

Yeah, considering term life, too. I assume you laddered it? Curious how you structured it.

It doesn't hurt to shop around, but that might be your best option. You could also ask in the accounting or finance bowls and see what people know in there.

Well, give us some details. How much coverage is this? How much will you pay? How old are you?

$12k monthly for how long of a maximum benefit length?

And you pay $1.5k per policy how often, and for how long a period of time?

First time investor in the US. Any suggestions on books / blogs to read to get smart. Where do people typically invest given all the client related policies in place for consulting firms?

When do you predict the dip? I've been waiting for so long, but don't want to buy now. VTI seems inflated.

Can someone help me with this? I had a low utilization since pandemic, I.e., ~sub 5%, but never missed any payments. Would credit score be impacted if only one line of credit with a low utilization?

Too few accounts currently paid as agreed
FICO®

Scores consider the number of accounts that are paid as agreed. Your score was impacted because the number of these accounts is too low, or because you've missed payments recently on some of your accounts.
