Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I once violently vomited in the client parking lot in the middle of the afternoon. I was actually sick (most likely food poisoning, as I was fine in the morning), but optics weren't great.
Took 6 weeks off from my old job and no one noticed - walked in and pretended I was always there
This is 2007 and I only had 2 weeks off

Worked with a guy once who said Go after every question. Pissed everyone off. “You’re Fired. Go!"
The senior consultant on my project once threatened to “choke slam me into a desk” over what he felt was too aggressive of an email from me to him in front of our senior manager. In said email, I requested that he not swear at (this is different than swearing around) our clients when they were difficult.
He got transferred to a different office on a different account and I got an applause award...so it more or less worked out I guess.

Senior associate and director picked up a pair of prostitutes while working on a project in Dubai. Another firm member at the bar when they picked up the escorts informed the partner and blew up the whole thing. Not sure what came of it but they both still work for the firm.

Not crazy, but a Manager was fired for denying Analysts overtime but forcing them to work 60+ hours a week

I watched a drunk colleague ask the partner..,”What’s the capital of Thailand”, then proceeding to punch in the private’s. It was amazingly funny...in a high school kind of way. Partner punched him back and they all lived happily ever after.
Can we hear about stories of consultants doing things that DID get them fired? I find that way more interesting...

We were looking for someone to speak at a diversity and inclusion event. I recommended two people. Someone responded that they didn’t think we should use them because “straight middle aged white men” talk so often at events. I cringed when I read it but no one seemed to bat an eye lid in the email chain or really respond I was shocked she didn’t get fired.....
See but like when you say “what about this person” you’re implying there’s something wrong with your two people in particular, when theres not. It’s a much bigger problem, and tbh sometimes it just has to be called out bluntly for people to actually think about it and react to it

There was that one partner who was such an alcoholic that any morning meeting with him smelled of a fifth of vodka and vomit. Thing was, the dude still managed to sell a lot of business
