Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

EY recruiters called me recently telling me I should move for a 10% salary decrease because the firm is so awesome with the young employees and great clients they have...
Maybe you’ll be the one lucky person making bank at EY but they seem to undercut the market with base AND bonus and they don’t even pay for your freakin lunch officially. Sad firm in my opinion just going off the facts and numbers, maybe everybody there is great and they have phenomenal lives but I have a hard time taking that leap
I used to work for EY, TAS (transaction advisory services - working capital, OTS, Private equity, M&A) generally pays higher than the rest of advisory. Generally they lag than their big four peers in terms of salary. But I find it hard to believe that you can’t get 200k or more as SM. I knew plenty of senior managers making well into the 200’s in advisory (not TAS)
Even 1st year promote to senior manager was around 160’s to 190’s (myself included).
All comes down to your experience and how it matches with their needs and how you negotiate.
I got a SM offer at EY with 8 yrs of Experience - base was 200 and sign on bonus of 20. But bonus was expected to be 10K or less. Didn’t take it
How much were you at before ?
Around 200 is doable as an outside hire as a manager in TAS if they really want you. But bonus is minuscule. If you’re going to start as a SM over 240 is definitely within range but with 8 years they might want you to get in as a M.
Yeah don’t listen to all these people who think that their PI or Risk salaries are representative of the better paid groups like TAS, Actuarial, QAS...some groups at EY pay very well! And some actually get good bonuses too (separate pools from rest of company).
Why do you think sm isn’t possible ? Is the 8 yes of experience not enough ?
And I am an sm right now. Just forgot to update on fb
Reasonable if starting with the right experience depends a bit on location and specialty- you can message me if you want
Probably bring you in as a manager anyways op, sorry our processes are kind of f’d up
I guess people who start their careers at EY have a better salary start and Yoy increase is also decent. I have heard seniors getting 120k.
I’m second year Senior getting 159K base. If you’re in the better paid service lines in TAS (OTS, working capital, value creation), then a new SM should be getting something comparable to what you’re getting now
