I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

30% is a lot and titles don’t pay the bills.
Yes for the pay and contrary to popular belief Deloitte is a decent firm.

Does anyone else find it strange that they're complaining they're overworked and therefor are telling people not to come to D? Shouldn't they want more people to come to even out the workload?

You will definitely have higher expectations and more work to do as a SC at D compared to EY since it’s more equivalent to M at EY. If you plan to stay in consulting it sounds like a good opportunity if you like the team but exit opps to leave consulting aren’t necessarily too much better in many industries for the SC title (assuming same YOE).
SC to M at Deloitte is 3-4 years. But that said the 30% raise is higher than you will get when promoted to manager. So the switch will likely work out and it is not a given you get promoted to M at EY.
No? Its 2-3 years from what I’m told
