I have worked on multiple Google projects and tools, ranging from spreadsheets to Google Data Studio. Basis familiarity with the Google systems, I have applied to endless jobs in the organisation. However, I have no idea why is it sooooo difficult to even get an HR call for the screening.

Full time cycle interview slots are a fraction of internships. Yield and return rates of interns are also very high, economic outlook probably have something to do with it.
I guess there could be some other stats involved like
- candidate yield rate higher for intern interviews than FT
- interns that accept FT offer stay longer than people that join FT
And ofc there is some overhead in that you want to have a sizable intern class to begin with, for the sake of on-campus presence and evangelization
EY-P is close to finishing up the cycle already from what I understand

We are hiring as usual and right in the thick of it with B school interviews right now. Did you try McK?
It says I can reapply only in 12-18 months AFTER graduation :( that’s long. Thanks for offering. Will follow up on the future!
I’m on the MBA recruiting team for targets - things have not slowed down.

From my perspective here at Ross, it seems like Bain extended by far the most. Not sure the yield. McK was more selective in interview invites for sure. BCG was almost non existent. Other firms that seem to be hiring strongly are A&M, Accenture, Kearney, S&, and Alixpartners. Haven’t seen EYP or Deloitte much
Check out employment report. Just came out a week ago
We slowed down FT interviews significantly; none at some programs. Our focus was on our intern-to-FT conversions.
