Currently SC in a BI capacity. Received an offer from a F500 FMCG that is 20% lower than current salary but offers an opportunity to move from tech to commercial. Been wanting to get away from developer roles, but feeling the offer is too low considering my achievements and tech skills. Any advice on how to navigate or push for a stronger offer? Or is it expected when going from tech to bizops roles?

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.
