Anyone any advice how / where to get tested for ADHD in NYC? I received a lengthy list of providers from my health insurance (UHC) but either can’t reach anyone or they tell me they only do therapy and no testing.

If my agency wants me back in the office, can I tell them that I’m not planning to get vaccinated (for personal reasons) even if that’s a lie, and would that work?

Anyone else find themselves getting extremely stressed at work during pregnancy? It’s like my emotions are just off and I get so stressed so easily. I want to be calm for baby but it’s hard to not get worked up!

Is it considered mental abuse if your partner is depressed and instead of getting help or addressing the issue, they let their emotions out on you and expect you to change and be their therapist? Causing you to have severe mental health issues and lowering your own mental health?

Is a TRX sufficient for getting back into shape? I’ve definitely wasted these past two months but I probably won’t be going back to work until after July so I’ve got time to build a foundation once gyms open back up at a decent capacity

When is it worth showing to a doctor if I think I have anxiety?

Worry a lot about things which don’t matter to such an extent that it prevents me from working on the task at hand

Does anyone else feel like their social skills went down during the pandemic? My new anxiety makes retail so hard.

My doctor had me take a week off because of the chronic stress and borderline panic my situation at work is causing.

In many ways, I feel recharged, confident...and more ready than ever to quit. :(

Anyone else have a need to exercise daily? A lot of people judge me in a negative way and in reality it is because my ADHD brain needs it. 1) the consistency for schedule 2) exercise can help tone down the symptoms before I sit down for the work day 3) it is the only thing I can control to make it look like I am not a mess (disorganization, interrupting) - basically trying to stay in the game at work based on perception of “having it together”. Just wondering if anyone faces the challenges.

Has anyone tried the super food powders for meal replacements? Which ones would you recommend? Does it still make you hungry? 😂 Did you feel healthy? Thanks

I recently tried quitting everything last Sunday, with drew all last week and then relapsed Friday, Saturday and Sunday worst withdrawals I ever had (cold sweats, shaking, wasn’t sure I would survive). I’m through the worst of it now but any advice? Thought about rehab but can’t stop work. This is probably my 9th time trying to go sober during the pandemic. I live alone so the isolation with the pandemic has extremely escalated my usage to the point of about a bottle of a day on weekdays

Why would you ever want to rollover your 401K into an IRA? It seems like doing so would essentially prevent you from successfully being able to do a IRA to Backdoor Roth IRA conversion due to the pro-rata rule. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t you always want to just rollover your old 401Ks to your new 401K?

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?
