The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

I’ve been with PwC almost for a year now in the valuations group and I don’t see myself doing this long term. 90% I’m helping Audit Teams understand valuations and 10% I’m doing PPAs. I always wanted to go into more a consulting role (ops/strategy role). I also like modeling, but the current modeling I’m doing is more accounting focused rather than finding business value from synergy creation. Ideally I’d like to stick with PwC but I’d switch too. Thoughts where I should apply too?

I bought the Perfect Keto exogenous ketones (EK) about a week ago and have been using about a half scoop in my coffee every other morning and that seems to be plenty to keep the urine test dark. I haven’t tried to increase my carbs test if I can go higher with the supplement though.
That being said, I’ve read some comments on Facebook keto groups saying EKs are a scam and that 1) the EKs are just flushed right through your urine resulting in false tests - not actually absorbed in the blood and/or 2) that using EKs will signal your body to not make ketones.
I’d be very curious to hear others opinions who are more experienced with keto! I haven’t found anything online indicating either of the above are true (with respect to 1, I could understand a higher number in the urine, but I don’t know why any EKs wouldn’t be absorbed). But I also recognize the health industry is full of scam products, so it’s possible EKs are one such example.
I only test blood, and they do reach the blood stream.
I cheated last week and was knocked out of ketosis. I started the Keto MCT oil powder and was back in ketosis after 2 days. Not sure if it had to do with the supplement or the foods I was eating or both but it doesn't taste bad so it's worth a shot.
My spouse has yet to enter ketosis and is using the exogenous ketones several times per day. The urine tests show ketosis but after a night's sleep the test shows nada.
@kpmg, there could be several issues. First, i would use a blood test kit, and measure ketones and blood glucose throughout the day. Take the ratio of glucose and ketone readings to get your Glucose Ketone Index, which should tell you if you are truly in ketosis. After that, my next suggestion is to look at inputs and what your macros are. In most situations, if you are not in ketosis by a week, you are eating too much protein and not enough fat. With the fat, ideally a good chunk of that should come from mcts. Your ketone levels will rise and fall based on how much high intensity workouts you do. Going to the gym and doing a full body high intensity weight lifting session should deplete your glycogen stores to the point where your body switches over.
Personally, i cheat massively on one meal per week, and heres how i get back into ketosis:
24 hour fast after cheat meal, take multivitamins and b vitamin complex and adderall to get me through, do 1 high intensity workout, intermittent fast for the rest of the week, eating only between 1pm and 7pm, and voila, i csn kick back into ketosis in about a day and sustain for the rest of the week.
So, tl;dr get more accurate measurements and assess macros, try 1 high intensity workout, and fasting
I definitely agree with an extended water fast - at least 36 hours and you will be in ketosis.
