For me it’s all about the book. I don’t care about accent, or country of origin. If you have a good book, I assume you have an interesting mind and I’ll want you.

Remember that you have to be exceptional - better that they can find locally in order for them to be willing to invest in relocation, visa sponsorship, legal fees and all the stuff that comes with that. Sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle.

Might need you to elaborate more. I’ve worked with many creatives from Brazil and other parts of South America. And of course Swedes. I suppose those are “trendy” areas by creative standards - but if you’re from a country not known for great work, and your book reflects it, that could be a problem.
The industry is homogenous as hell overall, but I’ve always had international coworkers in the creative dept.
I have relocated from India. Have worked with FCB, McCann, and Publicis in the past. India is a pretty diverse market and my book has a variety of stuff from digital films to social media campaigns. I am confused. I don’t know what seems to be the problem.
