Do mid-level copywriters typically have any sort of influence in hiring? Meaning, can they put in referrals for junior level/intern applicants? Is it better to try and network with CD’s or CW’s?

I interviewed for a position at EY-Parthenon three weeks ago and haven't heard anything about the outcome since then. I wrote to HR last week seeking update but haven't heard back yet. How do I proceed? The interview was a 'first stage interview' with the director after completing the assessment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My final round of technical Interview was over in Deloitte USI and it was with team members. I think HR will connect with me for package as per team members.
Role : Consultant (Manual tester)
YOE : 5.6 yrs
Current package: 5.03lpa( this will get hike letter)
How can I expect from Deloitte because even for freshers they are offering more, so for 5.6 yrs how much can I expect?

Advise on handling rates negotiations with BIPOC and non-male creators? I always want to accept first bid and get uncomfortable when my bosses push to undercut rates (especially now when money is tight), because there is a whole history of BIPOC and non-male people getting paid less. I’ve tried to push back but struggle to articulate this to them. (For the record, I’m POC female and my bosses are white males, and race/gender convos are already very difficult with them.)
