i do with some, it’s case by case for me that being said i don’t post things i wouldn’t want them to see anyways because i have my grandparents and family on socials too
Never the boss and never my associates. I only add a select few colleagues
Boss-Never! Coworker- it would depend on how close we are
Rising Star
I used to add colleagues but not anymore.
No
I never do this either. I like my colleagues, but they don't need to know anything about my personal life and I don't need to know anything about theirs.
Former coworkers from past companies yes, current no. I have to have a line between work and personal.
Nope. Shouldn’t combine work and personal life.
What if they send you a friend request? Do you just ignore it?
It's a request not order.
I am friends with 2 coworkers on Facebook that I became actual friends with, and have a handful of friend requests just sitting there I am purposefully not accepting.
Just my personal gauge — if grabbing dinner and drinks sounds fun and we could to talk the entire time about non-work subjects, then I *might* add them as a friend on social media, otherwise is a definite no.
No ....the lesser they know about your outside of work life , the better
Yikes no!
