I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?
Smoked ribs. It was smoked for 6 hours.

Feeling secure in your job is important, but feeling too secure can lead to complacency and a sense of entitlement. There should always be just a little “looking over your shoulder” to keep you on your toes and performing at a level that keeps your job secure.

Me too but I don’t feel like that guarantees anything.
I feel reasonably secure in my role, but I've seen way too many people I thought were doing a great job get let go over the years to feel too comfortable. Nothing is ever guaranteed.

Honestly, in this economy I feel like all of us are replaceable and have very little security in our careers. We live in a world of cancel culture, being too comfortable, too complacent, too vocal, too anything could be the downfall of any of our careers.
