Do you need to be a CPA to be a Tax Manager? I’ve seen a few people make manager and are not CPAs.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

I had recently attended the interview at IQVIA for sql developer position, but when I received the offer letter the designation mentioned there is "Software engineer- technical operations 130'.

Just wanted to know if this is some kind of a production support role.

I've been interviewing with another company for about a month. The whole process has been 3 interviews over a months time. I have been in my current role over 6+ years (as HR mgr) and it's very transactional and not very strategic. The new company wants someone to lead a team from a senior level (HR Director) - what advice do you have for taking the next step in my career? I'm likely going to take the offer if it comes.

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I interviewed for a role with the Enterprise Risk Team at EY. I told them my salary requirements were $105 k before the interview. They said it should be ok if I'm brought in as a Senior 1. After the interview, they said they want to bring me in as a Staff2 at $84k with $3k signing bonus. I'm trying to get on a call to negotiate further...do these numbers sound right to you all?

I am planning to move to San Jose and looking out for salary range offered to audit seniors. I am in the middle of my CPA and just need to pass one more paper.
