I agree with SA1, depends on the premium cost. Keep in mind that if you do ever need dental work beyond a standard cleaning, dental work is expensive. Other things to consider is your age and gum health. Overall, dental insurance is cheap enough that I’d rather have it and not need it, than one day need it and not have it.
Depends on how much your dental premiums are, usually super cheap (I.e less than 150 a year)
I thought this same things and opted not to get dental. Then when I went in for a cleaning they told me I was due for x-rays. Those plus a deep clean if needed could cost $500/600 total. I wish I would’ve just kept the insurance haha
Employer dental programs are usually decent. However private dental plans are usually not worth it!
there is also dentalforeveryone.com that offers discount plans!
I feel it's worth it overall for the year. Better safe than sorry for dental / vision imo.
It depends on how much the dental insurance is and what it covers! Vision insurance usually ends up saving you money if you have contacts and/or glasses.
