In order to answer your question effectively, we really need more context, are you asking a Christian man should always be the bread winner? As human male living in a capitalist country/society.
Assuming you’re looking for a biblical perspective I’ll give you this answer.
The reality is that the only thing that is biblically required of you is to be a spiritual lead of your household. Being the head, and lead of your household does not necessitate being the breadwinner. Many people believe this to be the case because being the breadwinner is associated with having the money and therefore the power, control, and authority over the house.
This interpretation doesn’t necessarily apply in the biblical sense because leadership is not solely measured by finances.
For example, in many instances, we can see that sales professionals, the very lifeblood of most companies, don’t have final say so over what the product is or the direction that accompany goes in they are not the “heads”.
Functionally your position as spiritual lead and priest of your house is measured in your ability to, in a God honoring way, cast vision and set goals for your family.
Of course, being the breadwinner makes that easier but it’s not necessary.

Greetings, when faced with these earthly questions I try to glean from the scriptures.
Ecclesiastics 1-8-9
All things are wearisome, more than one can say.
The eye never has enough of seeing,
nor the ear its fill of hearing.
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
This inspires me to know that our problems are not new. Gods way is the way.
Another scripture Romans
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ,
Sharing a the word - Luke 4:31-36
The devil and the demons go to work everyday, everywhere.
They have a purpose and they have a plan and they have a focus . They have tools and resources ……but what demons and evil spirits don’t have is power.
Gods people are commanded to go to work everyday, everywhere.
Our purpose is in Christ. In our purpose, he gave us a plan and he has given us tools and resources.
Most importantly. God has given all Christian’s access to HIS power through the Holy Spirit.
Pray without ceasing…for access to God’s power, will and his way.
Sending blessings … know you are not alone in this journey.
Have a blessed week.
No. As stated in Scripture above being the head doesn't dictate being a bread winner. You both have to work together to support the family but the man should "lead the family" spiritually and in making big decisions (not saying women don't have a say because they should). The money should be used to better the kingdom and sustain the family regardless of who makes more.
Men should be the breadwinners if that’s what the couple desires. They don’t have to be if the family decides otherwise.
It’s certainly still doable. There are plenty of men who are the sole breadwinners, with stay-at-home wives/moms.
Make MORE or desire LESS.
People don’t realize how many of the “must-have items or lifestyle options” are simply not necessary. It’s all a choice.
