Been digging into the obvious (e.g. resume, DCF, three-statements, basics of LBO, why IB + this bank) but don’t want to spend unnecessary time on everything that comes up in a google search if it isn’t the right approach.

My background is BSc & MSc in Acct, back office BB intern, big4 audit intern, and current title FT ~ 1.5 yrs. My current role is heavy on 3 statement models/IS forecasts.

I recently had two interviews with a director and a manager for Sr. associate role (DS&AI) at PwC. And then, I was asked to interview with another director. All in all, the interviews went well. But I haven’t heard back anything yet! The directors told me that they are in dire need of people and are hiring like crazy! With the current hits to the stock market, and a serious recession outlook, is PwC still gonna hire people ? If I were given an offer, is it a good idea to join the firm ?

What tech staffing agencies have you had the most success with? I feel like they can be a hit or miss but I do enjoy being a contractor.

Any devs work for a nonprofit and get paid well? I get the impression that those two things are mutually exclusive. Is that so? I think I would absolutely love using my tech skills to do good full time instead of just in my spare time, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to afford the pay cut.
