Does a referral guarantee an interview?

I am planning to apply for the Google STEP, Apple and Microsoft SWE Internships as sophomore, I have heard people mention that a referral is the best way to guarantee an interview at the company. Is this true?

Anyone can help me with getting a referral with Google,Microsoft or any other Saas company. I have over 2 YoE in Commercial Sales and currently at Dell. Any help is appreciative

If I got a manager for employment claims’ position is it hard to pivot to an associate counsel role etc? What do you think the main difference between the two are? Is it a good position for a stepping stone to in house counsel?

I have a manager level interview coming up. Cloud DevOps role. YOE: 11. Current CTC: 19. Already holding an offer for 36. Do you guys think EY GDS will match it. I am planning to play it safe by not revealing counter offer figure to manager, but later reveal it to HR during salary discussion. Is this a good strategy. Anyone here joined EY GDS recently

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?
