Does anyone actually have a work/life balance in this industry? It seems to get worse as you move up the ladder, which doesn’t inspire much confidence. I’m fairly new to the industry but everyone seems miserable and I can’t say I blame them. No training, no work/life balance, unrealistic client expectations and so on. People quit in droves and you’re just expected to pick up all the slack without any increase in compensation.

I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Please help!

I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview,but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I applied for Miami Ad School NYC but to be honest, I’m not overly-impressed with the books that I see on the recent grads page. Conversely, the books I’m seeing from Creative Circus grads are insanely awesome. Am I missing something here or is one school good and the other just isn’t?

A couple of ppl in my previous agency, saw a competitor acct try a very interesting idea that we thought was cool — but their execution was super localized, in europe, and was not even done to its fullest potential. So, they didnt get ANY press (just like two articles from random websites). Fast forward and Im at another agency, thinking that now more than ever, that idea could be done better. Is it fair game?
