I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have attended wipro HR discussion 2 days before .. post HR discussion, I was requested to send adhar , photographs and existing offer letter.
What will be the next steps and how many days it will take to get the offer letter.

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?

Any Atomic Habit readers here? I’m brainstorming identity-based habits for two things I want to change:

-I want to bill more hours, so my goal is to become the type of person who bills at least 8 a day

What is the average adoption assistance benefit at big law firms?

I’m a 4th year and I’ve never billed contemporaneously for even a one full week. I guess I’d just rather have one day of torture recording all my hours at the end of the month than that extra little torture daily. I’m wondering how common or rare this is in BigLaw. Thoughts?

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

Random partner asked a litigation-related question to a partner I frequently work with (i’m a transactional associate). My partner cc’d me and said for me to briefly look. Asked the library. They got me a great case. Sent it back. Now the random partner is asking for more cases in another circuit.
