Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you don’t recall an answer say - ‘Will circle back to you on this, can you please share your email id’. Then send a nicely made working/ PPT.
What exactly are you expecting in terms of consulting? I haven't been in EDGE R&D directly, so I can't speak from personal experience, but there are a couple things I will note from "the outside" (I used to be part of quantitative services, which is the tax group that works with EDGE. I switched to consulting a few years ago so things may be very different than what I recall):
1. EDGE is associated with tax, not consulting. Specifically, here's looks like R&D credit studies. I'm hoping you already get that? But it's not the sort of thing I'd normally expect from consulting bowl.
2. Even if we say r&d credits are tax consulting (which I can accept that argument), from what i know, EDGE is a different business line and way of working than the tax consultants. My understanding is edge has less pressure on things like sales, business development, promoting "up or out" etc. The core principle of EDGE is to have people with engineering backgrounds to help substantiate r&d credits. (So this means that your technical/subject matter expertise will likely matter more, whereas in traditional consulting roles, there's a balance of expectations between subject matter expertise, project management, sales, etc.)
Sorry that probably doesn't directly answer the question, but hopefully it can give you an indirect feel.
