Got an offer from pwc in the data privacy role.
With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks.. I am contemplating a move to industry working at a VC, Tax Director role east coast. Looks like it will be primarily overseeing compliance with some aspect of advising on structures etc. There is another tax reporting head above me.

The potential comp is the low 200k with a 10% bonus (still higher than what I am making). I feel this is pretty low for VC standards but maybe my standards are also too high. I have generally seen 25% bonus with carry.

Any thoughts?
